The new ACU main display and wiring harness were fairly easy to install. I was able to skip a lot of the steps as I used the old wiring harness as a fish tape to thread the new harness down thru the battery compartment and to the motor!

To install the new wheel, I had to transfer the cassette and brake rotor from the old one. I’d dealt with the brake rotor before — it requires a T25 Torx key. But for the cassette, I ordered $35 worth of tools after spending pretty much an entire day researching and choosing the right ones. When they finally arrived, I realized they weren’t compatible! The Park Tool FR-5.2G didn’t fit the cassette lockring because its guide pin was too big to fit into the opening.
In the end, I took it to a bike shop, and they transferred the cassette in literally one minute for a small fee
I have an Aventon Level 4 REC. The new rear wheel runs much more smoothly and seems to use less battery power, at least from what I’ve noticed. The wheel lock works properly

Just shortly after purchasing the Aventon Current ADV, I decided to enter the 66 mile "Conquer the Coast" ride around Corpus Christi bay. With some 15mph headwinds and a climb over 2 bridges, the bike finished the race at an average speed of 18 mph with 20% battery remaining using a combination of "Auto" and "Trail" assist settings. The bike has lots of telemetry to monitor battery status, distance to empty, rider/motor power balance, etc to help monitor your pace and assist level to ensure you have enough battery to finish the ride. No battery anxiety with this one!
I can't wait to take this bike out on the trail.

I've owned my Aventon electric bike for three years now, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase or the company behind it.

I had two other phone holders and they kinda worked but they were bulky or covered the lens. This one is fits securely and lets me take vids on rides.
