The rear handlebar is a great companion accessory to the Captain's Chair, giving our little ones something more than just the seat handle to grab onto in front of them. The padded wrap around the handlebar is a nice touch.
One note that wasn't clear in the installation instructions or the product description: the order of installation matters with certain accessories and certainly with the Captain's Chair. If you're using these two accessories together like I was, it's vastly easier to install the rear handlebar prior to the Captain's Chair. The base pad for the chair easily wraps around the rear handlebar after it's installed at the front of the rear rack, but this wasn't immediately obvious to me (-1 star for lack clarity on installation).

as a taller rider myself my suspension seat post is at max height. the rear handlebar sits right under my seat. the padding on the handrails has been worn off quite a bit as a result of the rear handlebars rubbing against my seat. I wrapped the ware areas with electrical tape and that's good enough. I wish the rear handlebars were shorter.
