I’ve had my Aventon Level.4 for about a month now and have been using it regularly, especially for commuting to work. My round-trip commute is about 17 miles, and overall I’ve really enjoyed the bike.
The Level.4 has plenty of power, feels solid, and is comfortable on longer rides. I like being able to adjust the amount of pedal assist depending on how much of a workout I want. It makes my commute much easier while still allowing me to get some exercise.
One thing I didn’t like was the stock suspension seatpost. For me, it had too much of a rebound effect and I could feel it bouncing back after hitting bumps. I ended up replacing it with an AVG seatpost, and I prefer the way the bike rides now. That was more of a personal comfort preference than a major problem with the bike.
I also experienced a W101 warning during some of my rides. I contacted Aventon, and their support worked with me on the issue and ultimately sent me a replacement ACU. Their customer service has been good, and I appreciate that they stood behind the bike and took care of the problem.
Even with those couple of things, I’m very happy with the Level.4. I actually use it as transportation instead of having a bike that just sits in the garage. I ride it to work, use it for exercise, and enjoy taking it out just to ride.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Level.4, especially for someone looking for an e-bike that can handle regular commuting while still being enjoyable to ride.
