Trip ruined

I misplaced my pin and tried to plan ahead with time to order a new one before taking my bike on a vacation only to find out they are not in stock and the locking portion is a separate purchase altogether. Now I can’t go to trails I planned for!

How can you not have this in stock

I managed to lose my pin and lock for my new Aventon bike rack. It appears that there are no aftermarket alternatives due to the “unique” design. It is disappointing to find that this unique part has been out of stock for some time. I have two new E bikes and a 500 dollar bike rack that I can not use. Very frustrating indeed.

Why wasn't this included with the bike rack!!

So, appears we are in the same boat as others. We should not have to buy this pin. We spent a ton of money on the bike hitch and cant use it because the pin is too short!!!

Can't even get the pin - not in stock

Yeah, so we put the rack on our truck today only to find out that the pin that is included with the rack isn't long enough to get through my hitch. And when I go on to buy the part, I can't. Then I see these other two reviews and am completely discouraged. What do we do? I would think that an accessory as expensive as this would include two pins to make sure your patrons can actually use the product. What do I do now? I am unable to secure the rack on my truck, making it unusable. Completely frustrated. Granted, yes we should have tried it sooner, but who would ever think this sort of thing could happen?

I shouldn’t have to buy this

I was installing my rack for the first time and realized as we were heading out for the weekend that I couldn’t secure my rack to the hitch because Aventon didn’t include the correct length hitch pin/bolt. It was an inch too short. Ruined our weekend over a $12 part. I see the other review for this item was exactly the same. Very frustrating.
